[Source - Henry Fagan for FHYA, 2022, using material provided by Hlonipha Mokoena and Sizakele Gumede: A letter written by Magema Fuze appearing on page five of Ilanga Lase Natal 13 August 1920. In this piece, Fuze disputes the views of an unnamed white woman who had claimed that lobola amounted to the sale of women. Fuze counters by suggesting that if the woman is so concerned about black women's welfare, she should do something about the racial discrimination black people face.]
